Disassemble the brake caliper as follows:
- pull the piston partially out of the cylindrical hole and wring out the protective ring with a small screwdriver, squeeze out the firmly seated piston by inserting a pipeline with compressed air, while inserting a piece of hard wood into the caliper hole so that the piston does not hit the metal parts;

- wring out the sealing ring from inside the cylinder bore using a flexible pointed object (when using sharp objects, do not damage the hole), now disassemble the caliper as shown in fig. 256 details;
- thoroughly wash the piston and cylinder bores with brake fluid or alcohol; other cleaning agents should not be used for this procedure, as they can destroy the rubber parts of the brake system;
- check all parts for damage, especially the outer sides of the piston and the working surfaces of the cylinder, in no case allow scratches or corrosive places;
- insert a new sealing ring into the edges of the cylinder and the piston moistened with brake fluid, first carefully insert the closed side into the cylinder bore;
- install the protective ring on the piston and caliper, now the assembled caliper is ready for installation.
