1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Lift the protective cap…
3. …unscrew the fastening nut…
4. …and remove the wiper arm.
5. Remove the tailgate trim (see "Removing and installing the rear door trim").
6. Squeeze the retainer and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the gear motor.
7. Remove the three mounting bolts…
8. …and remove the rear door wiper motor.
9. Remove the spacer washers…
10. …and rubber bushings. Replace hardened or damaged bushings and washers with new ones.
11. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
