1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the gear motor assembly with the wiper trapezoid (see "Removing and installing the windshield wiper linkage assembly with the gear motor").
3. Unscrew the crank mounting nut…
4. …and disconnect the crank from the gear motor shaft.
5. Remove the three mounting screws…
6. …and remove the gear motor.
7. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
