Rear axle differential assembly (Scorpio 1)

1. Install the axle gears together with new adjusting shims of a thickness selected in accordance with the previously measured clearances.

2. Install the satellites together with the support pads and axle.

3. Heat the driven gear of the main transmission (by dipping it in hot water) and place it on the differential box.

4. Ensure proper centering by installing the four mounting bolts.

5. After adjusting the installation of the main transmission gears (see subsection 8.3.6) install the differential bearings.
