Checking external lighting fixtures

Check the operation of the headlights, rear lights, auxiliary brake light, direction indicators, and license plate light. Replace defective lamps (see «Lamp replacement»).



The following lamps are used on cars:

• 1 – a lamp of a forward dimensional light, lamp type W5W;
• 2 – a lamp of the forward indicator of turn, lamp type P21W;
• 3 - low / high beam lamp, lamp type H4;
• 4 - front fog lights (if installed), lamp type H11;

• side direction indicator lamp, lamp type W5W;

• 1 - reverse light lamp, lamp type P21W;
• 2 – a lamp of a stoplight/side light, lamp type P21/5W;
• 3 – a lamp of a back indicator of turn, lamp type PY21W;
• 4 – a lamp of an additional stoplight, lamp type W16W;
• 5 – a lamp of a back antifog lantern, lamp type P21W;

• license plate light bulbs, bulb type ZW5.
