Checking external lighting fixtures

Check the operation of the headlights, rear lights, auxiliary brake light, direction indicators, and license plate light. Replace defective lamps (cm. «Lamp replacement»).

The following lamps are used on cars:



1 – a lamp of a forward dimensional light, lamp type W5W;

2 - high beam lamp, lamp type H7U;

3 – a lamp of the forward indicator of turn, lamp type PY21W;

4 - low beam lamp, lamp type H1U;



– front fog lights (if installed), lamp type H8.

On sedan vehicles:



1 – a lamp of a back stoplight and dimensional light, lamp type P21W;


2 - reverse light lamp, lamp type P21W;

3 – a lamp of a back indicator of turn, lamp type PY21W;

4 - fog lamp / side light lamp, lamp type P21 / 5W.

On vehicles with a hatchback body:



1 – a lamp of a back indicator of turn, lamp type PY21W;

2 - brake light / side light lamp, lamp type P21 / 5W.

NOTE: On vehicles with a station wagon in the rear light (top down) The following lamps are installed:

NOTE: – a stoplight lamp, lamp type P21W;

NOTE: – a lamp of a light of a backing, lamp type P21W;

NOTE: – a lamp of a back indicator of turn, lamp type PY21W;

NOTE: – Fog/side light bulb, bulb type P21/5W.

For all vehicles:



– A lamp of a back antifog lantern, lamp type P21W;




– a lamp of light of a backing, lamp type P21W;



– a lamp of an additional stoplight, lamp type P5W (5 pieces.);



– side direction indicator lamp, lamp type WY5W (or W5W for side turn signal lamps with yellow lens);

NOTE: Depending on the equipment, the side turn signal may be located in the side rear view mirror.

- license plate lamps, lamp type C5W.
