NOTE: Shown is replacement of the left headlight bulbs. The bulbs in the right headlight are located symmetrically and are replaced in the same way.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the headlight (see "Replacing the headlight").

3. Turn the turn signal bulb socket counterclockwise…

4. …and remove it from the headlight unit.
NOTE: The turn signal bulb socket is sealed with a rubber gasket. Replace the gasket if it is severely compressed, hardened or torn.

5. Press on the lamp, turn it counterclockwise and remove it from the socket.
6. Install the new bulb into the socket and the socket into the headlight.

7. Squeeze the four clamps…

8. …and remove the headlight cover.

9. Squeeze the latches and remove the parking light bulb socket from the hole in the reflector.

10. Remove the lamp from the socket.
11. Insert the new lamp into the socket and install the socket in place.

12. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the low beam lamp.

13. Remove the spring clip from the hook on the reflector…

14. …fold back the lock…

15. …and remove the low beam bulb.
16. Insert the new bulb into the reflector and secure it with the spring clip.

17. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the high beam lamp.

18. Remove the spring clip from the hook on the reflector…

19. …fold back the lock...

20. …and remove the high beam bulb from the reflector.
WARNING: Do not touch the bulb with your fingers, as the halogen bulb gets very hot and grease stains will cause the bulb to darken. Handle the bulb only with clean gloves or a clean cloth. If grease stains still remain on the bulb, remove them with alcohol.
21. Insert the new bulb into the reflector and secure it with the spring clip.
22. Replace the cover.
23. Install the headlight.
To replace the side turn signal lamp perform the following operations.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the turn signal lamp from the hole in the wing (see "Replacing the side turn signal light").

3. Turn the lamp holder counterclockwise…

4. …and remove it from the indicator lamp.

5. Remove the lamp from the socket.
6. Insert the new bulb into the socket and the socket into the indicator housing.
7. Install the side turn signal lamp in the reverse order of removal.
To replace the bulb in the side turn signal, located in the outside rearview mirror, perform the following operations.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the mirror cover.
3. Press the retainer through the hole in the mirror housing and remove the turn signal lamp.
4. Remove the bulb holder from the turn signal lamp and the bulb from the holder.
5. Install the new lamp.
6. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
To replace any bulb in the rear light for hatchback and station wagon vehicles, perform the following operations.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Open the tailgate.

3. Turn the bottom…

4. …and the upper screws for fastening the lantern…

5. …and move the light away from the body, overcoming the force of the clamps.

6. On hatchback cars turn the parking/brake light bulb socket and remove it from the lamp housing.

7. Press on the lamp, turn it counterclockwise and remove it from the socket.
8. Install the new bulb into the socket and the socket into the flashlight body.

9. Replace the turn signal bulb in the same way.
10. On cars with a station wagon body squeeze the retainer and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the tail light.
11. Remove the two screws and remove the lamp cover assembly with the lamp holders.
12. Press on the lamp, turn it counterclockwise and remove it from the socket.
13. Install the new lamp.
14. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
To replace any bulb in the rear light for cars with a sedan body, perform the following operations.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Open the trunk lid.
3. Turn the two latches of the tail light cover and remove the cover.
4. Press the two latches and remove the lamp cover assembly with the lamp holders.
5. Press on the lamp, turn it counterclockwise and remove it from the socket.
6. Install the new lamp.
7. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
To replace the bulb in the reversing light perform the following operations.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the lamp to replace the bulb; it is sufficient to perform steps 4–9. However, it is more convenient to perform these operations with the lamp removed.

2. Press the latch..

3. …and remove the reversing light from the bumper.

4. Turn the lamp holder counterclockwise…

5. …and remove it from the flashlight.

6. Turn the lamp counterclockwise…

7. …and remove it from the chuck.
8. Install the new lamp.
9. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
To replace the bulb in the fog light perform the following operations.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the lamp to replace the bulb; it is sufficient to perform steps 4–9. However, it is more convenient to perform these operations with the lamp removed.

2. Press the latch..

3. …and remove the fog light from the bumper.

4. Turn the lamp holder counterclockwise…

5. …and remove it from the flashlight.

6. Turn the lamp counterclockwise…

7. …and remove it from the chuck.
8. Install the new lamp.
9. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
To replace the bulbs in the license plate lights perform the following operations.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the two mounting screws…

3. …remove the light from the rear door trim (trunk lid)…

4. …and disconnect the wiring harness connectors from it.

5. Release the clamps…

6. …and remove the reflector.

7. Press the spring contact and remove the lamp.
8. Install the new lamp.
9. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
10. Similarly, replace the bulb in the second license plate light.
To replace the lamp in the additional brake light perform the following operations.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the additional brake light (see "Replacing an additional brake light").
NOTE: On hatchback and station wagon models, an additional…

…squeeze the latches on the left…

…and on the right, and then separate the lamp socket and diffuser.

The connection between the diffuser and the lamp holder is sealed with a gasket. Replace the damaged gasket.

3. Remove the baseless lamp that needs to be replaced from the socket.
4. Install the new lamp.
5. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
To replace the lamp in the interior light perform the following operations.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Pry it up with a screwdriver…

3. …and remove the interior light diffuser, overcoming the force of the clamps.

4. Press the spring contact and remove the lamp.
5. Insert the new bulb.
6. Install the diffuser back into place.
To replace the pedal light bulb perform the following operations.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Turn the lamp holder counterclockwise…

3. …and remove it from the bracket on the instrument panel frame reinforcement.

4. Remove the baseless lamp from the socket.
5. Install the new lamp into the socket.
6. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
To replace the lamp in the trunk light perform the following operations.
NOTE: The trunk light is installed on sedan vehicles.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Open the trunk.
3. Overcoming the force of the retainer, remove the lamp from the hole in the car body (if necessary, pry it off with a screwdriver).
4. Remove the lamp from the socket.
5. Insert a new lamp into the socket.
6. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
