11. …and remove the windshield wiper linkage assembly with the gear motor.
Note. The windshield wiper linkage is a non-separable design. If there is increased play in its hinges or if the levers are damaged, replace the linkage as an assembly. The gear motor can be disconnected from the linkage (see "Windscreen wiper motor gearbox replacement").
12. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
