World Positioning System (GPS) Antenna

Withdrawal

1. Remove the A-pillar trim panel. Refer to Section 501-05 for more information.

2. Remove the passenger airbag module. See Section 501-20A / 501-20B for more information.

3. Turn out the top bolts of fastening of the panel of devices.



4. Remove the glove compartment.



5. Disconnect the GPS antenna line connector from the telematics control module electrical connector.



6. Remove the audio block. See Section 415-01 for more information.


7. Remove the bottom panel of finishing of the panel of devices from outside the driver.



8. Remove the instrument panel. See Section 413-01 for more information.

9. Remove the ashtray.



10. Disconnect the instrument panel bezel.

• 1. Remove the screws.
• 2. Disconnect the clips.

11. Turn out a bolt of fastening of the panel of devices.




12. Turn out bolts of fastening of the panel of devices.



13. Turn out bolts of fastening of the panel of devices (left side shown, same for right side).

NOTE: Make sure the instrument panel does not come into contact with the passenger side airbag module mounting bracket.

Disconnect the instrument panel.



15. Remove the GPS antenna.

• Discard the self-adhesive pad.

16. Clean the mating surface of the cross beam.

Installation

NOTE: Install new A-pillar trim panel clips.

Reinstall all elements in reverse order.
