Oil Cooling Pipe Puller 307-242 (17-049)

Withdrawal

1. Disconnect the hose from the tank.

• 1.Disconnect the tank.
• 2.Disconnect the hose.
• Let the liquid drain into a suitable container.

2. Disconnect the hose from the bracket.



3. Raise and support the vehicle. See Section 100-02 for more information.


4. Remove the radiator mudguard.

• Remove six screws.
• Disconnect the air temperature sensor connector (in the presence of).

5. Using the special tool, disconnect the fluid cooler hose.

• 1.Insert the special tool into the hose quick coupler.
• 2. Move the special tool through the pipeline to release the locking elements.
• Let the liquid drain into a suitable container.

NOTE: Diesel option shown, other options are similar.

Remove the fluid cooler.

Installation

NOTE: After installation, bleed air from the power steering system. See Section 211-00 for more information.

Reinstall the elements in reverse order.
