Inspection and verification
1. Check the validity of the customer's complaint.
2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage.

3. If an obvious cause for a noted or received complaint is found, eliminate that cause (if possible) before moving on to the next step.
4. If the cause of the complaint is not obvious, check the symptom and refer to the Troubleshooting Table.
