Withdrawal
1. General notes:
- Depending on the nature of the damage, it is also possible to perform a sectional replacement of the rear side panel or repair it using sections of the roof sheathing (see operation 44 513 0).
- Remove the following items: bumper, tail light, tailgate seal, air vent holder, door window, trim panels, inner fender, seat cushion, rear seat backrest, seat belt, door seal and striker.
- Move floor coverings and wiring harness away from work area.

- 2. Mill twice the thickness of the panel at the joint between the rear side panel and the rear storage shelf panel.
- 3. Heat up the work area.
- 4. Possible cutting zone.
- 5. Disconnect the solder points.
Installation
1. Rear side panel
- Before installing a new spare part, weld the reinforcing plate in the bumper mounting area.

NOTE: Apply two-component metal adhesive immediately before installing a new replacement part.
Rear side panel
- 1. Make a continuous MIG weld.
- 2. Using spot welding, weld the backing strip along the cut edge and make a continuous MIG weld.
- 3. Apply two component metal adhesive. Then crimp the joint of the wheel arch sections and spot weld.
- 4. Perform a puddling weld.
- 5. Solder.

- 1. Make a continuous MIG weld.
- 2. Perform a puddling weld.
