Removal
1. General notes:
- Depending on the nature of the damage, it is also possible to perform a sectional replacement of the rear side panel (see Operation 44 513 0).
- Remove the following components: bumper, taillight, tailgate seal, vent holder, door window, interior trim panels, inner fender, seat cushion, rear seatback, seat belt, roof rail protector, lower trim panel, and lock striker.
- Move flooring and electrical wiring away from the work area.
- Note the cutout for the replacement part in the lower trim panel.

Installation
1. General instructions:
- When replacing the right rear side panel, apply flange sealant around the tank opening area before installing it.
2.
NOTE: Apply two-component metal adhesive immediately prior to installing the new spare part.
Rear side panel
- 1. Perform continuous welding using MIG technology
- 2. Perform puddling welding.
- 3. Apply two-component metal adhesive. Fix the wheel arch flanging and perform spot welding.
- 4. Using a spot welder, weld a backing strip under the cut edge and make a continuous weld using the MIG process.

3. Seal mounting panel
- 1. Perform a continuous weld using MIG technology.
- 2. Perform puddling welding.
