Hood mechanism
The hood opens from the front and is locked with a double latch in the hood latch.
The hood lock is unlocked from the front with the car key. To insert the key into the lock cylinder, turn the emblem to the left "Ford", located on the front grille. The safety lock of the lock of a cowl also opens a key from the car. The hood lock is attached to the reinforcement panel holes for installing the grille (GOR). The hood latch is fixed in the striker plate, which is attached to the front of the underside of the hood.
Hood hinges
Two hinges of the hood form the axis of rotation of the hood cover when it is opened and closed. The open lid of the hood should be fixed in a fixed position using a special support post. The hood hinges are attached to the body and to the hood cover with two screws each.
