Tailgate Lock Cylinder (Station wagon)

Withdrawal

1. Remove the tailgate trim panel.



2. Remove the exterior trim molding and license plate light.

• Remove the screws.
• Disconnect the license plate light connectors.

3. Disconnect the tailgate latch cable from the tailgate lock assembly.



4. Remove the tailgate lock assembly.



5. Remove the rear tailgate lock cylinder mounting ring.

• Bend the tabs inward.

6. Remove the tailgate lock cylinder spring.



7. Remove the tailgate lock cylinder.

Installation

1. Replace the elements in reverse order.
