External door handle — removal and installation

Withdrawal

1. Remove the front door trim panel. See Section 501-05 for more information.

CAUTION: Do not touch the surface of the adhesive as this will prevent re-adhesion.

Bend back the seal.



3. Remove the outer door handle hole gasket from the door.

NOTE: The screw must be completely removed from the door lock cylinder bezel, but does not need to be completely removed.

Loosen the screw.



5. Remove an edging of the cylinder of the lock of a door.



6. Remove the outside door handle.

• 1. Slide and unfasten the outside door handle.
• 2. Remove the outer door handle and gaskets.

Installation

1. Replace the elements in reverse order.
