Interior Door Latch Release Handle (Focus 1)

Removal

1. Remove the door trim panel. For additional information, refer to Section 501-05.

2. Disconnect the door latch remote control handle.

• 1. Disconnect the handle from the door panel.
• 2. Slide the handle from its mounting location.

NOTE: Move the door latch to the locked position.

Remove the remote control cable from the handle.

• 1. Release the remote control cable using a thin-tipped screwdriver. Be careful not to damage the cable.
• 2. Remove the remote control cable from the handle.

Installation

1. Install the elements back in place in reverse order.
