By measuring the resistance with a multimeter (see also chapter "Electrical equipment of the car") you will check the operation of the speed sensor. In order to be sure that the distance of the sensor to the flywheel is correct, check before measuring whether the speed sensor is securely screwed.
For electrical monitoring, disconnect the connector on the speed sensor.
Measure the resistance across both connector pins.
The multimeter should show approximately 200±50 W.
