Caring for battery contacts

Wash off the oxide crystals on the battery terminals with warm water and soda or remove them with a special cleaner, such as «Neutralon» by Varta.

Then lightly lubricate the battery terminals and wire terminals with acid-resistant grease, «Ft 40v1» (Bosch). Be careful not to get grease between the contact surfaces of the poles.
