Gearbox N (models up to 1988)

Gearbox MT-75 (models since 1989)

The manual transmission can be removed without dismantling the engine. Removal of the gearbox is necessary to replace it or, accordingly, repair the entire drive, or when replacing the clutch. Since in no case should it be advised to repair the gearbox or transmission with improvised means, only the removal of the complete unit is described here.

Vehicles are fitted with various manual transmissions. Models prior to 1988 are equipped with an N gearbox. Later models are equipped with an MT-75 gearbox.
