Removal and installation the thermostat (diesel engine) (Scorpio 2)

Removal

Drain the coolant into a clean container.



Unscrew the 3 bolts securing the "arrow" and remove the coolant outlet pipe together with the sealing ring and thermostat.

Check the thermostat.

Installation

Insert the thermostat with a new sealing ring into the housing.

Place the housing with a new sealing gasket and tighten the fastening.

Fill with coolant, see section "Maintenance".

Warm up the engine and check the tightness of the coolant outlet pipe connection; if necessary, carefully tighten the mounting bolts.
