Withdrawal



Disconnect ground wire (-) battery.

Caution: Disconnecting the battery will erase the contents of the electronic memories, such as engine trouble codes or radio codes. Before switching off, also read the instructions in chapter "Removing and installing the battery".


Remove the air chamber rubber seal from the front wall.



Detach the electrical cable from the cover. The cable is fixed in three places -B-.

Release screws -A- and remove cover from front panel.



Disconnect both connectors -B- for auxiliary resistors.

Unscrew the 2 mounting bolts -A- and remove the fan housing assembly.



Remove both upper housing halves.


Detach auxiliary resistors -C- from tensioning strap -B-. Release the tension band and remove the fan motor.

Installation



Insert the fan motor into the bottom half of the housing and secure with a tension band.

Fasten additional resistances to the tension tape. Install both upper housing halves on the lower housing half.

Install the fan housing assembly in the vehicle and secure.

Connect both connectors for additional resistors.

Attach and screw the cover to the front wall.

Attach the electrical cable to the cover.

Put the rubber seal on the front wall.

Connect ground wire (-) battery.

If available, set the clock and enter the radio's anti-theft code.
