Removal
Lift the inner trim around the hood release handle, releasing the 4 clips.
Remove the 3 screws securing the handle.
Unfasten the cable pull from the handle and from the counter support.
Unscrew screws "A" securing the hood lock and remove the lock.
Unfasten the engine compartment hood lock rod at the counter support "B" and lever "C" and remove the rod.
Installation
Route the hood lock rod through the engine compartment.
Caution: Do not bend the rod sharply when laying it.
Attach the rod to the counter support and the hood lock lever.
Attach the hood lock and tighten the mounting screws.
Pass the hood lock rod through the rubber insert in the front wall.
Attach the rod to the counter support of the hood release handle.
Attach the rod to the handle and screw the handle with three screws.
Secure the trim around the handle.
