2. Remove the connector (2) of the throttle position sensor (1). On OHC engines, it is located below the idle speed valve, on the back side of the intake manifold. On DOHC and V6 engines, it is located under the throttle body.
3. Unscrew the throttle position sensor and remove the sensor from the throttle shaft (the mounting bolts are indicated by arrows).
4. It is not recommended to rotate the central part of the sensor against its normal rotation, this may damage the sensor.
5. When installing, align the chamfer on the throttle valve axis with the chamfer on the center of the sensor.
6. Install the sensor and screw it with two bolts.
7. Connect the connector to the sensor.
