Removal and installation of heater control cables

Front cables



1. Remove the heater control unit.

2. Remove center console.

3. Remove console bracket and shift lever inner cover.

4. Remove trim under dash panel on both sides.

5. Remove glove box cover.

6. Remove radio.

7. Remove the ABS and EEC IV modules.

8. Remove the lower trim on the passenger side to gain access to the heater housing.

9. Unscrew the two mounting screws and remove the cables from the heater.

10. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.

Rear cables



1. Remove center console.

2. Remove the front seat from the corresponding side.

3. Remove the rear seat cushion.

4. Unscrew the bolt of the lower fastening of the front belt.

5. Remove the door seal front mounting by unscrewing the three screws.

6. Unscrew the front screw securing the rear door seal.

7. Unscrew the front mat from the mounting to provide access to the heater cable.

8. Release the cable and disconnect it from the choke lever control unit.

9. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
