2. Use paint to mark the position of the hood hinges relative to the hood.
3. Unscrew the bolts (indicated by arrows) securing the hood hinge.
4. Detach the insulating panel from the bottom of the hood and remove it.
5. Disconnect the windshield washer hoses.
6. Disconnect the wires from the underhood lamp.
7. With an assistant holding the hood, unscrew the hood hinge bolts.
8. Remove the hood. To avoid damaging the varnished surface of the front fenders, two people should remove the hood.
9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
10. Check and, if necessary, adjust the position of the hood in the horizontal plane so that the gaps around the perimeter of the hood are the same everywhere.
11. The height of the hood is adjusted by rotating the rubber stops located on the sides in front of the engine compartment.
12. To adjust the hood lock, unscrew the lock nut (2) of the locking pin and, using a screwdriver to rotate the locking pin (1), adjust the installation height of the pin.
13. With the lock nut unscrewed, the locking pin can be moved in a horizontal plane and thus ensure a clear fixation of the hood lock.
