Attention! The fuel in the power system is under high pressure, so it is forbidden to loosen the fuel line connections while the engine is running or immediately after it has stopped. To carry out work on the repair of the power supply system on a just-stopped engine, it is first necessary to reduce the pressure in the power supply system.
1. Turn off the ignition, open the hood and place it on the stop.
2. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.
3. Open the storage box.
4. Squeezing the walls with your fingers and removing the travel stops on both sides, lower the glove box.
5. Remove the fuel pump fuse F15 from the mounting block.
Note. On the back of the glove box is a diagram of the location of the fuses and relays.
6. Connect the wire to the terminal «minus» battery, start the engine and let it run until the fuel rail runs out of fuel. After that, the engine will shut down.
7. Turn off the ignition. Now you can disconnect the fuel lines.
