Replacing the rear support of the powertrain suspension


The rear support 1 of the powertrain suspension is a non-separable unit consisting of a steel collar and a rubber cushion. It is attached to the bracket 3 on the gearbox with bolt 2, and to the front suspension crossmember with bolt 4.

You will need: a wrench, a 15 mm socket head.

1. Place a reliable support under the gearbox housing or lift the power unit using a lifting mechanism.

3. …and remove the bolt securing the rear support of the powertrain suspension to the bracket on the gearbox.

5. …and remove the bolt securing the support to the front suspension crossmember…

5. …and remove the bolt securing the support to the front suspension crossmember…


6. …then remove the support.

7. Install the rear powertrain suspension support in the reverse order of removal.

7. Install the rear powertrain suspension support in the reverse order of removal.


NOTE: Pay attention to the marking on the support. Purchase a new support with the same marking.
