Removal and installation of mounting blocks (Focus 2)

Removing the mounting block located in the passenger compartment is described above (see "Location of fuses and relays and their replacement"). The mounting block, located in the engine compartment, does not have common wiring harness connectors: each wire is inserted into a separate socket at the base of the block.

Due to the large number of wires connected to this unit and the need to use a special wire layout map in the work, the work on removing and installing the mounting block located in the underhood space should be carried out at a specialized service station.
