All the vehicle's control and measuring instruments are combined into a cluster of instruments. It includes a speedometer, tachometer, total and daily mileage counter (odometer), coolant temperature gauge, fuel gauge, control and signal lamps, and backlight lamps. The temperature and fuel gauges are electromagnetic. Depending on the configuration, an on-board computer display may also be installed in the cluster.
The instrument cluster is not repairable, so if the instruments fail, it is replaced as a whole.
USEFUL TIP: To avoid damaging the instrument cluster glass, do not clean it with any solvents. You can wash the glass with a mild soap solution or a special glass cleaner.
