Removal
1. Drain the coolant from the cooling system. For more information, refer to the Draining/Filling Coolant and Bleeding the Cooling System chapter in this section.
2. Remove the generator. For additional information, refer to Section 414-02.
3. Disconnect the inlet hose from the radiator to the thermostat housing.
4. Disconnect the heater hose from the thermostat housing.
5. Remove the thermostat housing.
6. Remove the thermostat.
Installation
1. Install the elements back in place in reverse order.
2. Fill the cooling system. For more information, refer to the Draining/Filling Coolant chapter in this section.
