High pressure switch — removal and installation

Withdrawal

1. Raise and support the vehicle. See Section 100-02 for more information.

2. Disconnect the high pressure switch electrical connector.

NOTE: Make sure the high pressure switch valve closes completely after removing the high pressure switch to prevent loss of refrigerant.

Remove the high pressure switch.

• Discard O-rings of circular cross-section.

Installation

NOTE: Install new high pressure switch o-rings.

NOTE: Coat the O-rings on the high pressure switch with clean coolant oil before installation.

To install, follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
