Intake air mixing flap drive (Focus 1)

Removal

1. Open and detach the glove compartment.

NOTE: Access to the servo motor is difficult.

Remove the air recirculation flap servomotor.

• Disconnect the connectors.
• Remove three screws.

Installation

1.

NOTE: The servomotor is keyed to the shaft. For this reason, the air recirculation flap can be moved to the correct position with your fingertips.

Install the elements back in place in reverse order.

2. Check the operation of the air recirculation flap.
