Description of drive shafts

            0

The axle shafts are used to transfer the drive to the front wheels of the car. Each axle consists of two RSS hinges connected by a shaft. The inner joint, located closer to the gearbox, has a splined tip. The tip is inserted into the hole of the crown wheel of the differential.

The outer joint also has a splined tip that drives the front wheel hub.

The hinges must be hermetically sealed and protected from dirt and moisture. Therefore, if the rubber covers of the hinges are damaged, they must be replaced.
