1. Check the air gap "A" between the drive plate and the pulley at 60 degree points around the circumference. For more information, refer to the Specifications chapter in this section.

NOTE: The refrigerant circuit should remain closed if possible.
If the air gap "A" is out of tolerance, the air conditioning compressor must be removed. Refer to Section 412-03 for additional information.
- If necessary, tie the compressor with wire.
3. Disconnect the drive disk.
4. If necessary, adjust the air gap using spacer washers.
5. Install the drive disk.
6. Check the air gap "A" by following step 1. If necessary, repeat steps 3-6.
7. Install the air conditioning compressor. Refer to Section 412-03 for additional information.
