Removal
1. Remove the rear wheel and tire assembly. Refer to Section 204-04 for additional information.
2. Disconnect the anti-roll bar from the rear lower arms.

3. Using a suitable transmission jack, raise the rear lower arm 32mm.

WARNING: The spring is under extreme tension; always be careful! Failure to follow this instruction may result in injury.
Disconnect the rear lower control arm from the wheel knuckle.

5. Lower the rear lower arm.
- Lower and remove the transmission jack.

6. With the help of another technician, remove the spring.
- 1. Move the anti-roll bar away from the rear lower arm.
- 2.Lower the rear lower arm.

Installation
1.
CAUTION: Make sure the upper spring seat support is installed and the spring ends are properly seated in the upper and lower spring seats.
Install the upper spring support onto the spring.

2. With the help of another technician, install the spring.
- 1. Move the anti-roll bar away from the rear lower arm.
- 2.Lift the rear lower arm.

CAUTION: Make sure the spring is seated against the appropriate stop on the rear lower arm and is visible through the drain hole.
Turn the spring clockwise until the end of the spring rests against the corresponding stop on the rear lower arm.

WARNING: The spring is under extreme tension; always be careful! Failure to follow this instruction may result in injury.
NOTE: Do not fully tighten the rear lower arm-to-wheel knuckle bolt at this stage.
Using an appropriate transmission jack, connect the rear lower control arm to the wheel knuckle.

5. Using a suitable transmission jack, raise the rear lower arm 32mm.

6. Tighten the rear lower arm to wheel knuckle mounting bolt.

7. Connect the stabilizer bar to the rear lower control arms.

8. Install the rear wheel and tire assembly. Refer to Section 204-04 for additional information.
