2. Remove the nuts securing the stabilizer links to the rear lower arms. Remove the washers and bushings (see fig. 20.2, a, b).
3. Using a hex wrench, remove the stabilizer mount clamp bolts from the rear suspension beam. Release the clips and pull out the stabilizer (see fig. 20.3).
4. Inspect the rubber grommets in contact with the clamps and connecting links. Replace bushings if necessary. Connecting links are supplied separately.
Installation
5. Install the stabilizer on the beam. Install clamps and insert bolts. Tighten them to the required torque.
6. Install the connecting links to the rear lower arms along with bushings and washers. Tighten the nuts to the required torque while holding the links stationary in the middle position.
7. Install the rear wheels and lower the vehicle to the ground.
