Removal
1. Support the front wheels, lift the rear of the car and place it on supports. Remove the corresponding rear wheel.
2. Disconnect the handbrake cable from the torque arm bracket on the bottom.
3. Remove the bolt securing the torque arm bracket to the rear suspension axle support.
4. Unscrew the bolts securing the torque arm bracket to the bottom and remove the bracket (see Fig. 15.4).

5. Place the bracket in a vice. Remove the bolt and separate the reaction arm from the bracket.
6. If the rubber bushings are worn out, you will have to replace the entire reaction arm.
Installation
7. Installation - in the reverse order of removal. Tighten the bracket-to-underbody mounting bolts to the specified torque before lowering the vehicle to the ground. Tighten the torque arm mounting bolts to the bracket and axle support. Tighten them fully after the vehicle is on the ground and the suspension is loaded.
