Removal
All cars
1.
CAUTION: If brake fluid comes into contact with the paintwork, the affected area must be immediately washed with cold water.
Disconnect the plug connector on the filler cap.
- 1. Pull back the tongue.
- 2. Press the clamps.
- 3. Disconnect the plug connector.

CAUTION: Make sure that no dirt gets on the filler cap.
Remove the brake fluid reservoir filler cap.

3. Using a suitable clean syringe, remove the brake fluid from the brake fluid reservoir.

4. Install the brake fluid reservoir filler cap.
5. Disconnect the tank.

6. Remove the screw from the central electrical distribution box.

7. Disconnect the connector clamp.

CAUTION: Plug the brake lines to prevent brake fluid from leaking and dirt from entering.
Disconnect the brake master cylinder feed hose.

Cars with manual transmission
9.
CAUTION: Plug the brake lines to prevent brake fluid from leaking and dirt from entering.
Disconnect the clutch master cylinder feed hose.

All cars
10. Disconnect the brake fluid reservoir wiring harness.

Installation
1.
NOTE: Bleed the brake system after installation. Refer to Section 206-00 for additional information.
When installing, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
