Upper guide for rear door window glass

Removal

All cars

1. Remove the door trim panel. For additional information, refer to Section 501-05.

2. Remove the side impact protection reinforcement.



3. Remove the door speaker (if equipped).



4. Disconnect the speaker electrical connector.



5. Disconnect the door latch release lever.

CAUTION: Do not touch the adhesive surface as this will disrupt the re-bonding.

Detach the seal.

• Using a plastic knife (disposable), cut the butyl strip, which will allow you to pull the seal.

Cars equipped with mechanical windows

7. Install the window regulator handle.

Vehicles equipped with power windows

8. Connect the electrical connector of the door window control switch.



All cars


9. Align the regulator clip with the hole (power window shown).

NOTE: Do not remove glass from door.

Disconnect the window glass from the regulator.

• 1. Push the pin out.
• 2. Push the bushing out.
• 3. Remove the glass from the regulator clamp.

Cars equipped with mechanical windows

11. Remove the window regulator handle.

Vehicles equipped with power windows

12. Disconnect the electrical connector of the driver's door window control switch.



13. Remove the upper door glass guide.

Installation

1. Install the upper door glass guide.



2. Secure the window glass to the regulator clamp.

• 1. Push the sleeve in.
• 2. Push the pin in.
• 3. Push the door glass down firmly to secure the pin in the regulator clamp.

3. Secure the seal.



4. Secure the door latch release lever.




5. Connect the speaker electrical connector.



6. Install the door speaker.



7. Install the side impact protection reinforcement.



8. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Section 501-05 for additional information.
