Dismantling

Disconnect the battery ground cable. Securely raise the front of the vehicle.

Open the coolant expansion tank cap. Open the coolant drain valve and drain the coolant into a clean container for later use.

Disconnect the hoses on the heat exchanger - after this, blow out the heat exchanger with compressed air, otherwise the coolant remaining in the heat exchanger will spill into the passenger compartment during dismantling.

Lower the front of the vehicle.

Remove the shift lever trim. Unscrew the shift head, remove the trim from the clamps, if any, disconnect the connector.

Remove the center console. To do this, remove the rubber plugs (arrows) and loosen the screws.
