Replacing the front wheel speed sensor



1. Loosen the nuts securing the respective front wheel.

2. Raise the car and remove the wheel.

3. Unscrew the rotation sensor mounting bolts.

4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the rotation sensor.

5. Remove sensor.

6. Detach the sensor cable from the spring clips.

7. Clean the wheel speed sensor mounting socket from dirt, rust, etc.

8. Lightly lubricate the sensor mounting socket with bearing grease.

9. Install a new O-ring on the sensor.

10. Install the speed sensor in its socket.

11. Tighten the sensor mounting bolt.

12. Connect the electrical connector to the sensor and hook the electrical wire in the spring clips.

13. Install the wheel and lower the car.

14. Tighten the wheel nuts to the correct torque.

Replacing the rear wheel speed sensor



Attention! The brake fluid in the rear brake circuit is under high pressure. Do not press the brake pedal.


1. Loosen the nuts on the corresponding rear wheel.

2. Raise the car and remove the wheel.

3. Release the hand brake lever.

4. Raise the rear seat and tilt the floor covering forward.

5. Remove the wire from the bracket and disconnect the electrical connector from the wheel speed sensor.

6. Disconnect the handbrake cable from the caliper on the rear suspension arm.

7. Remove the front brake caliper mounting bolt.

8. Turn the caliper up.

9. Unscrew the sensor mounting bolt and remove it.

10. Clean the wheel speed sensor mounting socket from dirt, rust, etc.

11. Lightly lubricate the sensor mounting socket with bearing grease.


12. Install a new O-ring on the sensor.

13. Follow the same initial steps as for installing the front wheel speed sensor, then reverse the steps for removing the rear wheel speed sensor.
