Checking the hydraulic switch

The hydraulic switch must be checked if the indicator on the instrument panel does not light up or is constantly on. If the indicator is constantly on, then you must first check the oil pressure. If the oil pressure is OK, the checks described below must be carried out.



Switch off the engine and unplug the connector -arrow- of the hydraulic switch (the figure shows the ONS engine).

Start the engine and close the plug contact to ground (e.g. crankcase).

If the indicator lights up, the hydraulic switch must be replaced. If the indicator does not light up, then there is either a defect in the indicator lamp, or a break in the electrical wire; check the electrical circuit using the wiring diagram.

Connect the plug connector of the hydraulic switch.
