Checking the hydraulic switch

            0

The hydraulic switch must be checked if the oil pressure indicator light on the instrument panel does not light up at all or is constantly on. If the light is constantly on, then first of all it is necessary to check the oil level and pressure. If the oil level and pressure are OK, then the following check should be performed.

Stop the engine and disconnect the hydraulic switch plug. For location of the hydraulic switch, see section "Oil pressure check".

Start the engine and put the plug on ground (e.g. engine block).

If the warning light still comes on, the hydraulic switch must be replaced. If the control lamp does not light up, then either the lamp itself is defective, or the electrical circuit is open. Check the electrical circuit according to wiring diagram.

Connect the electrical wire to the hydraulic switch.
