
1. Check the clutch drive disc – traces of wear (indicated by arrows) on the ends of the pressure spring should be no more than 0.3 mm.

2. Check the reliability of the spring connection between the drive disk and the cover. No scratches or missing or damaged rivets are allowed (connecting elements are indicated by arrows).
3. Check the drive disk for cracks, burns and surface wear.

4. Using a ruler and feeler gauge, check the flatness of the pressure plate, which should be no more than 0.3 mm (1 – ruler, 2 – feeler gauge).
5. Measure the thickness of the clutch driven disk linings. If the lining thickness is less than the permissible value, replace the linings or the driven disk.
6. Check the runout of the driven disk, which should be no more than 0.5 mm.
