Clutch test

1. Check the clutch drive - traces of wear at the ends of the pressure spring (indicated by arrows) should be no more than 0.3 mm.



2. Check the reliability of the spring connection between the driving disc and the cover (indicated by arrows). Scratches and missing or damaged rivets are not allowed.

3. Check drive disc for cracks, burn marks and surface wear.



4. With a ruler (1) and probe (2) check the flatness of the pressure plate, which should be no more than 0.3 mm.

5. Measure the thickness of the clutch disc linings. If the thickness of the pads is less than acceptable, replace the pads or the driven disk.

6. Check the runout of the driven disk, which should be no more than 0.5 mm.
