Caution! Do not remove the intake manifold heater when it is hot.
1. Remove the negative cable from the battery.
2. To improve access, remove the air filter housing.
3. Remove the three intake manifold heater mounting bolts that secure the heater to the back of the manifold.
4. Disconnect the wires from the intake manifold heater.
5. Remove the intake manifold heater (indicated by the arrow).
