Towing a car

Towing brackets are indicated by arrows.

The front towing bracket for the vehicle is located on the right side under the front bumper.

The rear towing bracket for the vehicle is located on the left under the rear bumper.

When towing a vehicle, be sure to turn on the ignition to unlock the steering and ensure operation of the electrical components.

Set the gearshift lever to neutral, or, if you have an automatic transmission, to the "N" position.

Because the engine is not running, you will need to press harder on the brake pedal when braking, and in vehicles with power steering, you will need to apply more force to turn the steering wheel.

The vehicle must be towed forward only.

When towing a car with an automatic transmission, the maximum towing speed is no more than 50 km/h, with a towing distance of no more than 50 kilometers. To tow a car over long distances, it is necessary to tow the car with the rear part raised.

Warning! It is prohibited to start the engine by towing in vehicles with an automatic transmission and if there is a catalytic converter.
