Engine starting

Starting information applies to all models equipped with fuel injection or carburetor.

Attention! The engine must be started with the hand brake applied. The gearshift lever must be set to neutral, and in an automatic transmission - to position "P.

Vehicles with automatic transmission

Start the engine with the lever in position "P.

High idle speeds on a cold engine are not allowed.

Be sure to apply the hand brake or depress the foot brake pedal.
