Adjusting the position of the front seats (Fusion)

To ensure the most comfortable fit for people of different heights and builds, the driver's and front passenger's seats can be adjusted longitudinally, by the angle of the backrest and the height of the headrest. In addition, the driver's seat is additionally equipped with a cushion height adjustment, and the passenger seat (in the optional design) has the ability to fold the seat back and is equipped with an additional storage compartment.

Warning! Adjust the driver's seat position only when the vehicle is stationary. If, when attempting to adjust while driving, you do not secure the seat properly in the longitudinal direction and it moves unexpectedly, you may lose control of the vehicle.

To adjust the front seats in the longitudinal direction, pull up the locking lever handle and move the seat on the runners to a comfortable position. After installing the seat, lower the handle and move the seat back and forth slightly until it is securely fixed.



The backrest tilt is adjusted by turning the handle at the base of the backrest.





The seat cushion height adjustment lever is located on the left side of the seat end.



If you need to raise the seat cushion, lift the lever up and release it - the cushion will rise slightly. Repeat the operation until the cushion takes the most comfortable position for you.



If you need to lower the seat cushion, push the lever down and release it – the cushion will lower slightly. Repeat the operation until the cushion takes the most comfortable position.





The front seat head restraints are height-adjustable: press the latch and move the head restraint up or down to the desired height. The optimal position of the head restraint is when its upper edge is level with the top of the head.

Note: For very tall people, raise the headrest to the highest position; for very short people, lower the headrest to the lowest position.

If necessary (for example, to fold the seat into a sleeping position), the headrest can be removed.

To fold the passenger seat back…



…pull the latch…



…and fold the backrest. To bring the backrest to a horizontal position, turn the backrest tilt position handle in one direction or the other.



Fold the seat back in the reverse order.

Note: To make it easier to fold the seat back, remove the headrest.

Caution: The back of the front passenger seat must be in an upright position if the seat behind it is occupied by a passenger.

Warning! If the back of the front passenger seat is folded while driving, the seat behind it may be occupied by children weighing no more than 18 kg.

To use the storage compartment located under the seat cushion, follow these steps:.



Lift the front of the seat cushion up…



…move it forward…





…and lift the back.

Install the seat cushion in reverse order.
